Event overview
On 15th and 16th May, our company, together with our partner Germitec (1), participated as sponsor and exhibitor at the 2025 Expert Imaging in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Conference held at the Royal College of Physicians in London. The event was organized by Professors Tom Bourne and Christoph Lees from Imperial College London, aiming to showcase the latest research, best practices, and innovative technologies in obstetrics and gynaecology.
The conference offered attendees the opportunity to hear presentations from internationally recognized experts, expand their professional networks, and allowed exhibitors to present their latest developments and solutions in gynaecological imaging.
The event attracted a diverse audience including obstetricians, gynaecologists, ultrasound specialists, sonographers, residents, medical students, and distributors.
Historic and inspiring venue
The conference was held at the Royal College of Physicians, one of the UK’s oldest and most prestigious medical institutions. Rich in history, the venue provided a unique contrast to the forward-looking nature of the event, creating a powerful meeting point between tradition and innovation.
This blend of past and future did not go unnoticed, many of our colleagues remarked on how inspiring it was to explore cutting-edge technologies in such a historic setting.
Team presence and our Chronos machine
At the event, PFE Medical was represented on both days by Malcolm and Alicia (sales specialists). On the first day, Rebecca (product specialist), was also present. Our partners from Germitec, Jean and Sébastien, joined us, and together we showcased our innovative Chronos device.
This joint presence provided a valuable opportunity to personally introduce our product to interested visitors. Malcolm summarized our presentation as follows:
"PFE Medical jointly exhibited with Germitec, the manufacturers of our advanced high-level UV disinfection systems. We showcased our Chronos unit, specifically designed to process ultrasound probes, focusing on both transabdominal and transvaginal probes. Our goal was to attract inquiries from users currently relying on 3-step wipes and chemical-based reprocessing systems, who are interested in transitioning to a fully automated, repeatable, and fully traceable process, delivering patient-ready instruments in under 90 seconds."
Stand Location and Presentation
Our exhibition stand was located in a high-traffic area, which allowed us to engage continuously with healthcare professionals and other attendees throughout the event. This time, we aimed for simplicity with our stand design. As a backdrop, we chose the message “No chemicals. No damage. Just high-level disinfection.” to clearly communicate the key advantages of our UV-C technology. In addition, we brought informational brochures, product samples, and a demonstration unit. These materials enabled meaningful conversations and sparked significant interest in high-level disinfection without the use of harmful chemicals.
"Our trade stand, featuring a table displaying our wipe options, Chronos brochures, and giveaway pens, was set up in the main area where coffee and lunch breaks took place. This gave us the chance to connect with attendees interested in the demo machine we had on display." – Malcolm said.

Overall, participating in the Expert Imaging in Obstetrics & Gynaecology conference was a positive experience for us. The event took place in a sophisticated, well-organized venue, providing excellent opportunities to connect with professionals interested in our products. Additionally, presenting alongside our partner Germitec was especially motivating for our team and laid the foundation for further shared successes.
